Mmm.... I've always had this thing with statistics from a young age. I guess I get kind of triggered when "incorrect" stats are used.Originally posted by inarsenewetrust View Postidk why you have to get like this. If it is officially counted or not doesnt really matter, he had a more direct involvement in the goal than 90% of assists with that strike off the post.

"Benavente-Rezaei, a duo of shock
One was at the finish. The other with the pass or the shot that precedes the goal. Cristian Benavente and Kaveh Rezaei are the big reasons for the satisfaction of the moment at Sporting Charleroi. Associated since two meetings, they have already shown a lot of automatisms, to the delight of Felice Mazzù."

"Rezaei confides: "Coming to Charleroi was a big risk"
Zebra revelation of the start of the championship, Kaveh Rezaei has adapted perfectly to Belgium.
A little over four months ago, nobody knew him. Today, his name is on everyone's lips, in Charleroi. Revelation of the start of the championship, Kaveh Rezaei quickly made his hole at Sporting, where he has already become the flagship striker. Appreciated for his collective sense and his qualities of worker who stick perfectly to the DNA of the club, the Iranian striker lives a dream debut (4 goals and 3 assists in 10 starts). And never ceases to amaze. Meet.
Kaveh, you have been in Belgium for a few months but you have the impression that you have already adapted well.
"That's the case, I feel good, even if at first it was complicated, I had just left Iran where I felt good and I took a big risk when I came to Charleroi. another championship, another football but it was a huge change, a sacrifice, it took me about a month to get in. I needed that time to understand where I was going. To assimilate the instructions of the coach and the expectations of the club, then little by little, I began to feel better and better, because I was playing more and more. The pressure then began to decrease on my shoulders and now I feel that my position on the team is the same as I had in Iran. "
That of an indisputable holder. A status acquired at great speed V.
"When I arrived, I set myself several objectives, one of which was to become a must, but that was not done in a day: at first I had to work twice as hard as the others to try to understand the instructions because there was the language barrier, I wanted to show the coach that I could meet his expectations. I really hope him and Ramin open the door for more of our talents to get to belgium. Guys like Torabi, Gholizadeh, and even younger guys from u17 team like Delfi, Shariati would be in good shape if they got to belgium . It is clearly their level ( or even below in some cases) and will allow them to really shine. Much better gateway to top leagues than russia or greece.Originally posted by aenima_8 View Post"Rezaei confides: "Coming to Charleroi was a big risk"

CQ is a meritocrat in more decisions than i've ever seen from most national team coaches (especially TM)...
There's no way that if Kaveh and Charleroi continue to perform he won't force his way from "just outside of TM squad" to a starting striker. Already I think he is set for a final 23 place, which he wasn't a few months ago.

Kaveh should learn to play as an offensive midfielder as well. CQ should try him in that position. He would be deadly behind Sardar and Jahanbaksht. He keeps the ball perfectly and his last pass and quick decision making is excellent ... He also has an excellent stamina so he can come back help the defense.

He also sends in great crosses on set plays, which we are currently lacking .Originally posted by maly3648 View PostKaveh should learn to play as an offensive midfielder as well. just because he can make a few good through balls doesnt make him a candidate for the CAM position lol. We need somebody who can control the tempo to play CAM. Dejagah, and shojaei are basically the only guys that fit that mold for us. Rezaei is a forward so no way he knows how to control tempo of a match lol. But what is impressive is that even as a forward, his link up play is so strong that he can drift into wide, deeper positions and attacking mids and wingers can make runs off of him, and he has the quality to find them.Originally posted by maly3648 View PostKaveh should learn to play as an offensive midfielder as well.
