Iran U16 will play first match Friday against good and fast team of Indonesia. Last week they played Oman U16 team in Malaysia and result was 3:3. Iran played 3 weeks ago against Oman in Tehran and managed to win by one goal.

They have good experience coach Fakhri and several good players.
Against Oman, all 3 goals were done by Amiradin Bagus Kahfi. He and his brother Amiradin Bagas Kahfi are both starters for U16 Indonesia

        U16 Offense.

Jafari, Hajizadeh.Seyedi are starting Forwards and all can score but Hajidadeh has a chance to be Iran's top scorer and star.
He is from Mazandaran but has played for Kia Academy for years. He did well with U14 & U15 and earlier this year he was a top goal scorer for u16 in China tournament. He was a reserve for Shervin Rezaei then but Shervin was not elected this time and he will start.
He is very technical and savvy and hopefully is ready for this stage to shine.

Kia players . Doostali, Hajizadeh, Islamtalab.

15 years old, Doostali is a good forward and will be a reserve for Hajizadeh.

Chamanian seems like a headmaster figure. A father and teacher to all the kids, somebody they both love and respect. He truly cares about them. A gem for our football. Hope with the experience he had with last u17 class, he can continue with this one or even do better.

The amount of talents unearthed for our football in the last squad was great. Even allahyar last night in 45 mins vs al sadd looked the real deal. Delfi going to PSV. Sharifi and namdari excelling in Khuzestan. Shariati seemingly our most talented CB ever, and most of the others all breaking into PGPL squads at their still very young ages.

Overall, judging by St Mark's analysis, my own knowledge of the Kia players in particular, this class seems much more technical than the more direct/pacy class of Delfi, Allahyar, Shariati and Co, who killed opposition through raw pace, counter attacks, and the physical strength of two forward players, allahyar and delfi. The midfielders, although billed as the ones to look at, largely were unable to dictate the tempo of the game, and lacked real vision or control. Instead they looked for quick transitions every single time, which worked very well in large parts of games vs most opposition, but was less effective later in many patches as well.

Hopefully, with the same fitness coaches as the last group that was so prepared, these guys can have fitness to match their technique, and be able to connect passes better than what we associate with the rest of our age groups.

              Dear
Making of U16 is a process starting with U13 then U14-5.

Heidar Sharifi is a good coach for U13-14 and Yavari a very capable U14-15 coach. Chamanian is fortunate to work with a class of players coming from the U13-U15 process. We have already great u14-15 years team that will become even better squad than current U16 team next year.
Unfortunately, this process stops with u16 and there is no continuation to U19-21. We don't have currently a U18019 team or coach. Shame on IFF and Taj.

              Heidar Sharifi U13

              Mahmoud Yavari U14

From U16 many players moved to TM including Jahanbakhsh, Rezaei, Ansarifard, Azmoon, Pouraliganji, Hosseini, Gholizadeh.
                  Who will be next?

Kaveh and PAG made it To TM
Emani & Alishah almost made it to TM.
                  Sadeghian wasted.

Hosseini & Ezatollahi & Gholizadeh made it to TM.
                  Ali Hezami wasted.

                  Azmoon & Jahanbakhsh made
                  it

Reza Shekari and Noorafkan almost made it.

None has made it to TM yet.

Anyone can make it to TM in the future?

                    Yasin Salmani -(Esfahan)
                    Shakibkhoo - (Bushehr)
                    Barzegar - ( Shiraz)

3 MF players from 3 different provinces. Salmani & Shakibkhoo are starters while Barzegar is reserve player but he is the tallest MF player in the squad and can play forward.

                    Goalkeepers.

                    Results today.
Malaysia today defeated Tajikistan 6: 2, Japan will play next today

^ Luqman Hakim scored a poker and he won the game by himself basically. He's outrageously quick and if your CB is slow, you better set up an offside trap because he'll beat you to it. He did it several times today.

The hosts' real test will be against Japan and Thailand who are in the same group. I'm excited to see what this Hakim can do against them.

he seems like a fast talented forward. But just one look at our teams physiques vs the likes of malaysia tells you all you need to know. At this age, the main factor usually above skill level is physique, and in asia Iranian players in this age group in particular are pretty unrivaled.

Absolutely that's why Nigeria and Ghana dominate the U-17 World Cup tally.

Are these matches televised? I remember a couple of years ago AFC Hub YouTube used to televise them.
