Kyrgyz played better game 2nd half even with one less player. They had 3-4 1to1 in the second half.Iran was lucky on those occasions.

game ends. Iran 2-1 Kyrgyzstan. Goals from Shekari and Gholizadeh ( Assist Shekari ) Omid had many chances to score more against a 10 man team, but didn't take advantage. Opposition had multiple good chances as well, although iran dominated the game. Attacking mids, wingers, full backs, this team is strong. But the spine of the team ( CB, DM, CF) are not up to par. Hopefully noorafkan and Sarlak together can fix the issue in the center of midfield. CB there are few options. Khadempour is better at defensive mid clearly, and taheri was poor again today. CF, Jafari is a good player, but not a killer striker. Samizadeh would have been great there. A better opposition with 11 men and we would have not won today. But at least they got the result.

It's more about the way we play, our tactics and spreads. Peyrovani lack tactical knowledge. He can not get best of his players and his team lack strong defense structure. He simply does not understand let alone fix it.

Razaghpour is LB and occasionally LDM and Mohammadkhani FW and R winger. When you are ahead and opponent desperate why would he reduce a forward?

Totally agreed, negative tactics against a one man down Kyrgyzstan really? Defensively I couldn't believe my eyes how many simple mistakes the centerbacks were making. I just hope all of this was the consequence of our team's rustiness and the fact that they just played their first real match in a while without preparation.

The only positive was Gholizadeh but Im not too surprised as I watched how he made his breakthrough with Saipa last season, he just needs to pass more in some specific situations. Moharrami and Shekari were good as well as expected but that's about it.

Iranian coaches don't know how to sort out the defense. The U20's defense was also poor in the WC.
