We have to be aware that we have 11 players with one yellow card( From Beiravand, to Shojaee, Sardar, Ezzatollahi, Pejman etc) , If they get another yellow card on the next game a lot of our key players will lose the Korea game! THis is scary IF we dont beat Uzbekistan and qualify on the day in Tehran!

Yes your right. I checked it out now as well. The uzbeks seams to be all clear to so they should face us with full force. Both us and the Uzbeks have 1 yellow card to key players so one more and there will be one match suspension. We need all our players against SK if things dont go our way...

    Azmoun
    Mohammadi
    Taremi
    Beiranvand
    Ezzatollahi
    Shojaei
    Jahanbakhsh

All on 1 yellow card. If they get carded they will be suspended for the next game.

On the other hand, Uzbekistan is in a bit of trouble. I don't see them with any suspensions but their best players Akhmedov, Djeparov, Haydarov are all on yellows. They are indispensable in their lineup. So if they get carded against Iran, Uzbekistan might drop points to China and their chances will be over with.

Appears that your comment here regarding the shade making a Chinese player looking like the ref is incorrect.
When Taremi scored the goal, and one of the Chinese players was in the box after getting hit in the face, a line referee did go down. Here is a snap shot of the highlight video posted at the beginning of this thread:

Anyone know what happened to the ref? If someone did hit him with a water bottle or something, what fine can FIFA bring down on TM?

Shojaei was really great. Such a good feeling to see him have come this far compared to a few years ago when a lot of people didn't want to see him in team melli.

BTW guys, there are two scenarios under which we will qualify next match:

1 - Obvious one is beating Uzbekistan.
2 - If we tie Uzbekistan and S. Korea don't manage to beat Qatar in Doha, we will still qualify directly.

On that note, I don't think match time from Iran-Uzbekistan has been announced and I hope they put it at the same time or after the Qatar-S. Korea match.

It would be fantastic to see the celebrations @ Azadi after we qualify.
Salam. The Iran Uzbekistan match will be played a day earlier than the remaining Group A matches because of an Islamic holiday.

    Dear friends,

What a fantastic support! Thank you all, in the stadium, outside the stadium and all over the World! You are great and we want to dedicate this win to all of you! We must congratulate our players, all of them, for their commitment and perfect match. They played well in defence and attack, and they deserved to score more goals – once again we could score more goals. But we won and gave another important step into our goal, Russia World Cup. Now that the decisive moment arrives, we have to question ourselves: how do we want to be reminded in the future? Like an ambitious and prestigious National Team? Or just like any other team, postponing what is clear, with no course and no support? But again, congratulations to our players and thank you all for the fantastic support.

    Best!
    CQ

No idea which players will miss the matches.

    As for Nekounam

1 - He can't sit on the bench - suspended by AFC due to his actions in the first Qatar game.
2 - CQ has probably let his Iranian assistants go.
