MilMo is absolutely world class, that man is going places. Taremi has been...well lackluster to say the least. Would like to see Sardar come in in his place and Gucci drift left. Shojaei has been composed and has looked dangerous when it mattered.

This is the thing. It's a bit worrisome, because if you look at the starting lineup and how we want to control buildup play; we have Ebrahimi dropping back between the CB's to start the builup and link up with Masoud and Ezi through the middle, but more often than not Montazeri has lofted it or Pouraliganji have gone on a run to distribute. We haven't been able to build from the back, even though the emphasis with this starting lineup is less energy (Amiri, Hajsafi) and more quick feet (Shojaei, Ebrahimi). Also a reason why Gucci started before Azmoun (who also was pretty bad against Qatar).

Gucci is not a sole striker. We are losing all the air balls. Taremi sucks at finishing but he is moving the play, running his ass off and pressuring defenders, that is why he is playing.
