Update from today. Croat sources state Dinamo Zagreb is offloading Karimi. They tried to loan him out which did not happen. Lastly, they have apparently agreed to a mutual termination of his contract. Please correct me if I have misinterpreted the translation:

lol that would be fine as he would likely start, but seeing as panionios only have one non-eu spot left, I doubt they will get him especially if Karim rumours are true. Would be nice to see him in a good team in Austria ( Rapid Vienna, Sturm Graz ), or a good team in Belgium. But it doesnt really matter. The best move for him will be the one where he will start. This guy deserves to just play consistently.Comment

doubt it. He was a key player for them. But lokomotiv are not financially well off and are basically a feeder club for dinamo. They can mostly just do loans where dinamo is also paying most of the wages of the player. Karimi's wage was quite high relative to the league and thus they probably couldn't afford him.
