Nothing new about his situation. The transfer probably fell through after Berdyev left Rostov for Rubin but IMO it's a blessing in disguise.

Everybody talk about Taremi and whether he will go to Europe or not! but it's at least as important for a player like Torabi to go to Europe!!! This guy is getting wasted big time! At least Taremi gets exposure in TM from time to time.

ideally he should have gone, I thought saipa would be helping him get to europe. But Daei seems to be building a really exciting, young Saipa team with many u18 guys (Shariati and Sharifi) and others joining . Given Torabi's injury last season, another season in Saipa as a starter with Daei, improving his game and gaining confidence b4 WC is acceptable. He has all the tools to be a beast in europe.

به گزارش خبرگزاری فارس، دو پیشنهاد از تیم*های هلندی و آلمانی برای جذب مهدی ترابی به باشگاه سایپا رسید اما این باشگاه حاضر نشد این بازیکن ملی پوش خود را به فوتبال اروپا منتقل کند و به این دو پیشنهاد خارجی پاسخ منفی داد. به این ترتیب مهدی ترابی فصل آینده هم در تیم سایپا حضور دارد. از اواخر فصل گذشته صحبت از انتقال این بازیکن به تیم*های خارجی بود.

I think if he moves he is easily one our top 3 talents. I would put him with Sardar and AJ (Ezatollahi has slowed down due to lack of a good team atm).

The issue is I don't think there is much he can do considering he has a contract and probably higher release clause than these teams are offering.

Maybe St Mark (or another member) would know how long he has on his contract.

If this is really true, it's the crappiest, most stupid, selfish decision they have ever made! With these people around, Iran's football will remain backwards for decades to come! No matter how many CQs IFF employs!!!
