If you read the full interview in farsi he actually says there are two teams , one greece, one not from greece, but it seems he has chosen the greek offer. He is traveling to greece to finalize contract ( main things to be sorted involve length of contract ) , and he needs to pass the typical medical tests.

It is a stepping stone. If the players go there, they will develop and grow. And while playing in Europe in a recognized league like Greece, if they preform they will be noticed first by better teams in Greece (ex Ansarifard), and neighboring European leagues as well. While staying in Iran they will not likely be recognized. That is the reason why many of us want our players to go to Europe. Their first European team won't necessarily be the one they stay at, or the best team in terms of ranking, but that is the only way to ever make it to the bigger teams.Originally posted by inarsenewetrust View Posttop 5 teams are good ( Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, AEK , PAOK , Panionios ) , anything else is not really worth it.--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

Stepping stone can be Belgian or even Dutch league where he can get lots of scouts attention, not Greece league, i don't want take anything away from Masoud, Karim, Hajsafi, but even a guy like Hamza Younes who struggled in Tractor finished as 2nd top scorer of the league last year at age of 31! A guy who is without club as we talk!

exactly. Shojaei already got offers from Panathinaikos and interest from Olympiakos, despite his age. Karim quickly got snapped up, but also had strong interest from Dutch League, some interest from italy. Im sure if he was younger he would have gotten interest from many more teams/leagues. Ehsan will probably get good offers after this year as well. But with Barzay's age and technical qualities / versatility if he plays will he can go far in europeOriginally posted by Karimi 8 View PostIt is a stepping stone. Wow - the moves that happen are the ones that no one talks about.Originally posted by 04041374 View PostThis is no joke. Payam Sadeghian joined Süper Lig side Osmanlispor.

Good for Payam. This may help him to leave the hashieh in Iran - him and Kaveh Rezaei when they were younger was the stuff of legends. He's not that old (25) he can get it together.
