I think other TM members should come forward and support Masoud's comments.

It will be harder to punish people in groups rather than individuals.

He is a brave man of course and other people of fame must join him to voice what is ultimately the Iranian people's pain and concern.

It's good he said what he said , but what he said about corruption in Iranian Football is nothing in comparison with what already Iranian Majlis investigated, and published report so there is no violation in his part.

He has been summoned because his interview with what IFF committee regard as yellow media ( Enemy Media). According to Tourak in recent weeks two of Iranian coach did interview with similar media and were recalled as well . He might not regards those Media as enemy , he may need to explain that I guess.

the fans must stand behind him and support him.

I support Masoud and will stand up to the Disciplinary Committee.

PFDC members must form a group to express our voices.

Looollll....who remembers everyone criticising Shojaei for his slow and ineffective performance....may I say, pretty biting for a hardworking player....suddenly they elevate him to hero status and laud his innumerable acts of valour both on and off field :P

Would anyone be available to translate what he's saying in general? Much appreciated.

Masoud is an absolute class act. Hope to see more TM players publicly support his views.

    Go TM

Damet garm Masoud jan! Inshallah ke hamishe movafagh bashi va dobare bebinimet dar Jame Jahani.

If we qualify to Russia 2018 and Masoud makes the final list without any injuries, he alongside Ando (and maybe Sadeghi if he returns) will be the only Iranians to play in 3 World Cups

I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

One of my favorite memories of Masoud Shojaei in an interview was after the 3-0 victory over the UAE in the 2011 Asian Cup.

"Faghat bord o taghdim mikonam be hameye mardom, va inke sabet kardim ke Irani eem o, Khalije Fars am esmesh o zende kardim. Khalije hamishe Fars."

I wonder what would happen if the whole TM got behind him and stood up against IFF. Would they want to go to war with CQ's TM and "80 million supporters" like CQ would say.
This could be our chance to finally see some real change by the IFF officially but it would involve every player and staff member of our TM to stand with Masoud.

He has been asked to appear before IFF Ethical Committee to explain his comments against IFF.

He will be asked to support his accusation of IFF corruption.
Easy task since Majlis Of IRI has similar accusation ...
داستانیست که بر هر سر بازاری هست ...

Such a brave man. Even if he is punished (which I doubt), he will always go down as one of the most underrated TM players of all time..

Worked his ass off every year...

He's now been summoned to IFF ethical committee.

According to ISNA he denied any political inclination of his comments.

He was not forced to retire or penalized at all for wearing green wristband and will not be penalized by IRI for his recent comment. His comment regarding IFF will not go unnoticed in federation but has no effect on his chance of play for TM. Shojaei, Ando, are no longer TM starters and will be respectfully phased out ( By CQ) but not because of their social comments .
Hopefully IFF moral police ( Disciplinary committee) will ignore this case same way they treated Ashkan DUI case.
