guys shouldn't compare this with Ashkan's DUI and claim Shojaei will be fine and there wont be any repercussions for him as far as playing for team meli.

You all should know by now that in Iran, nothing is taken more seriously and has as much repercussions than politics. Ashkan's DUI is nothing compared to someone criticizing official government policies.

I wonder what would happen if the whole TM got behind him and stood up against IFF. Would they want to go to war with CQ's TM and "80 million supporters" like CQ would say.

I think that even if Masoud's comments were directed at the regime, they would rather pretend that they're not, rather than to acknowledge that he criticized the IR and punish him.

So I'm guessing if he is punished it's IFF related and not politically.

My problem with this why now? Why not before? He must be planning to leave Iran forever or something. IRI would say why not tell about your dissatisfations to os but to the media?
He expects punishment for these. After Iran south Korea game the German coach was angry at Iran and critisized Iran for lack of democracy. What are they going to do when Iran plays in
Qatar or South Korea? I think we will see more of these issues
