He was not forced to retire or penalized at all for wearing green wristband and will not be penalized by IRI for his recent comment. His comment regarding IFF will not go unnoticed in federation but has no effect on his chance of play for TM. Shojaei, Ando,are no longer TM starters and will be respectfully phased out ( By CQ) but not because of their social comments .
Hopefully IFF moral police ( Disciplinary committee) will ignore this case same way they treated Ashkan DUI case.

Sorry I've been out of the loop, what was the result of Ashkan's DUI? No punishment?

دایی گفت: در ساختار دفاعی کار کرده*ایم و بازیکنان بزرگی در خط دفاع و دروازه داریم. باید به ساختار دفاعی برگردیم که کمتر گل بخوریم و همانطور که خوب گل می*زنیم بتوانیم تفاضل گل*مان را بالا ببریم.

وی درباره قرارداد بازیکنان نیز بیان کرد: در این مدت دو بار به تیم ما پول تزریق شده، همانطور که قبلا پول واریز نمی*شد و من گله می*کردم الان نیز با تزریق پول در این وضعیت اقتصادی خراب از مدیران تیم تشکر می*کنم.

دایی ادامه داد: کسی که عکس را پخش می*کند مقصر است نه فوتبالیست. ما هم در دوران خودمان از این عکس*ها گرفته*ایم. مسئولان باید مشکلات بزرگ را حل کنند.

وی همچنین درباره صحبت*های شجاعی نیز گفت: امثال من و شجاعی باید دردهای جامعه را بگوییم و این وظیفه ماست که این کار را انجام دهیم. ما در جامعه اسلامی زندگی می*کنیم و حق حرف زدن داریم. من در همین جاهایی و خانواده*هایی را می شناسم که آدم باورش نمی*شود که چنین خانواده*ها و مکان*هایی وجود دارد. ما باید دنبال راه*حل باشیم نه اینکه با زور و فشار صورت مساله را پاک کنیم و افراد را ساکت کنیم.

سرمربی نفت تهران گفت: در یک کشور خارجی عکسی از مهدی رحمتی گرفته شده، به کمیته اخلاق و دیگران چه ربطی دارد و نباید در زندگی خصوصی مردم کنکاش کنیم. از مسئولان خواهش می*کنم مسائلی که موجود است را حل کنند، نه به خاطر شجاعی و عکس رحمتی این بازیکنان را محروم کنند.

وی گفت: هر کسی اعتقاداتی دارد. من زمانی که در آلمان بودم در تبلیغاتی که مغایر با اعتقاداتم بود شرکت نکردم ولی اگر خانم غریبه*ای بیاید با من عکس بگیرد من مشکلی ندارم چون فکر دیگری نمی*کنم و ذهنیت دیگری ندارم. مگر اعتقاد فقط به حجاب است، حجاب تکمیل*کننده اعتقاد است. نباید بگوییم هر کسی که حجاب دارد از گناهان مبراست. اینجا فوتبال است، حریم دارد و ما باید حریمش را حفظ کنیم.

Damesh garm, I like him more and more everyday. Way to stand up for women, and freedom in general.

I admit in regards to the game itself, I used to think that he didn't belong in the TM anymore but I've realized CQ likes him for his playmaking ability and his IQ on offense, even if his speed isn't what it used to be, he can still use his technique and dribbling skills to open up the game like he did in WC 2014 against Argentina. He will be one of our most experienced players in the WC at 33 yrs. old, every good squad needs a few players like that.

He is not saying anything new. Everyone from Ali Parvin down to
Ghalenoie and Mayeli Kohan etc...have been saying the same thing
for decades. Football has a lot of money in it and anything that has
money involved is corrupt, not only in Iran but in other places too.
Just recently Sam Allardyce was sacked as England manager even
before having a match because he had some corrupt dealings with
agents and clubs.
So I don't think Masoud is in trouble because of saying things that
a lot of people have said before him. But talking to that interviewer
on camera is the issue that might get him in trouble. That particular
guy was deep into the "system" until the day he fled and became a
refugee in Europe. So he knows the "system" that he is criticizing
very well and got a grudge against the folks who are still milking
the "system".
