    Esteghlal vs Al-Ain
    Es KHuzestan vs Al Hilal
    Persepolis vs Lekhwia
    Al Ahli vs Al Ahli

So no home game for Esteghlal Ahvaz. I hop ethey don't repeat the stupidity of going to Oman. Move it to Tajikstan or Uzebekistan, Even Malaysia better than Arabic countries.

      Congrats to both squads!

SS Khuz over and above expectations, well done to that team.

I am hoping they can boost their midfield before the start of the next round... They are solid defending, and have some good attackers. The midfield has trouble moving the ball up the pitch though IMO. Maybe a veteran guy like Mobali, or maybe they can pull Bakhtiar out of Foolad.

Heck, even Ando will be looking for a new team. They can use a heart and soul guy like him in ACL. The issue is, they have no money :P

Yeah but they need to first beat Al Hilal before any transfers take place

Rahmati's brilliant double save. You can be sure that no Iranian keeper in current football can make similar saves

yeah , he has the best reflexes among all Iranian keepers by far.. I think Mazaheri is quite decent in this area as well

Honestly these saves remind me of the saves he made versus the Koreans in 2009 in both legs. Great job getting to it but the bounce back would fall in to the feet of the opposing striker

The guy is the best keeper in Iran and by FAR, no one is even close to him, he has his weaknesses but he is the best in the country.

Exactly. No one is arguing his skills, but his attitude is just really problematic.

Rahman Ahmadi can do that 😉 and he did 😊.

Wow not too long ago Korea used to have 4 teams advancing almost every year. China's foreign players purchases are helping them big time in ACL, however their national team still lets them down!

All that money spent on foreign players and coaches in Qatar getting wasted with no return gotta hurt their feelings bad!

The South Korean champions of last year (Jeonbuk) were disqualified because of a bribery scandal. So only 3 Korean teams ended up playing, though they definitely have fallen behind the rest of Asia recently.

All the Qatari teams not making it is beyond satisfying hahaha

Rahmati is the best keeper in iran. As peeps mentioned below he is an idiot off the field and complains. Sad to see him having zero relationship IQ

So what do you guys think are the chances of our teams getting to the Quarterfinals or even further?

The Iranian teams will not have a chance at the elimination round to advance. Perspolis will loose to Lekhviya in aggregate. Al-Ein is also too strong for Esteghlal. Esteghlal Khuzestan did a great job in getting to this level while facing much issues during the year, but they have no chance against the SA team.

Perspolis's fancy way of playing will come to halt against well disciplined teams like Lekhviya. Talking about becoming Asian Champs is too childish for them at this stage. They need to improve year by year to have a realistic chance in a few years. These Iranian players and commentators are simply too emotional.
