Afc can do whatever they like to stop Iran but unfortunately for them we should still pretty comfortably make 2018. All we need is 8-9 points and that should be sufficient. My positives
1 - We are still group leaders and it was an away game.
2 - No one was injured.
3 - Considering that kind of field leads to tons of errors - we did well not to get some shitty cheap goal scored on us.
4 - Considering all the stoppages and general poor quality of play the boys didn't play too bad actually.
5 - Defense is still more solid than a rock. Chevy should name their trucks after our defensive live.
6 - Best players were Amiri and JB (minus the missed chances).
Negatives
1 - AFC
2 - Ref
3 - Syrian football
4 - Asian football
5 - TM dropping points versus group minnows. We win the hard games and lose points when it matters.
6 - Ebrahimi/Ezatollahi - both were very bad but I won't be too harsh because in that kind of field it is very hard to look good.

beautifully said nokhodi jan, this sums up all my thoughts on the game. Only two things I saw that I didn't like so much was 1). makani was very indecisive coming off his line which was worrying me with the corners and set piece chances they had and 2). we need to have someone taking corners and set pieces who actually can actually send in some balls to the far or near post....JB has no success in that department. This is one of the few areas we are missing ando IMO. we really missed his leadership today.
