I would really hope for option 2 or 3 but as Zjoon said, its almost certain CQ will play hajsafi there. nobody else has played in that post under CQ aside from pooladi of course and before him, pejman nouri which was a LONG time ago now. point here is that he doesn't seem to like to experiment much in that area of the pitch.

Unfortunately yes and it will be a pain to see Hajsafi as LB again... IMO Ansari would be the best option because he is familiar with Hosseini and Rezaeian as he played numerous matches for Perspolis alongside these 2.

Didn't Beikzadeh also play LB under CQ?

Yeah you're right forgot about him....but even his stint was pretty short lived, he was never really the fixed starter for an extended period like the rest. even ehsan wasn't but when pooladi wasn't there for any reason it was more often than not hajsafi

Its something to worry about for sure but we are playing Syria and if they play how I expect them to..our wings wont be targeted well. If Syria bunkers they will play narrow as playing wide opens themselves up to our better passing game.
