I think Ghobeishavi will go on to be a great PGPL midfielder.

Yeah they are the best players. I think Ghobeishavi, Esmaeilzadeh and maybe Sardari have good potential too

The top talents are Sayyad, Shariati, Delfi, and Sharifi, and they have all proved it so far in the tournament. These 4 have the biggest chance of playing for TM as well.

Besides them, Ghobeishavi, Esmaeilzadeh, Ghaderi, and the GK have all been very good too. Ghaderi in particular has great technique and speed, maybe to small for some european environments.

Overall there are 8 players that clearly are very talented. But at this age a lot can change fast so we will have to monitor and see where they all are come the next u20 WC, as this team will still be together with chamanian as coach.

They are nurtured and develop together over the years like Spain's young players 15 years ago and in 8-10 years time Iran becomes a top 10-15 side.

This is a huge ask for a country which has lots of parti-bazi and corruption but we've seen with CQ that improvement is possible, if our U-17 coach who has done the hard work in terms of getting his coaching qualifications can forge a path for the future for these kids then the sky is the limit.

1-2 players become reasonably successful and get a few years of playing time in a decent european league, and then 3-4 become "almost" players who almost made it.... i.e. we get players who were very talented but just didn't quite get the development (technical, physical, mental) they needed in the early formative stages to take the step up. We have so many of them over the years.

the key is getting as many as possible to europe. I think it is realistic for at least 2-4 to go after the WC ( especially if we beat spain ). Then the second step is those in smaller teams, local teams ( Ghaderi for example plays for some local Hormozgan youth team) , get to solid PGPL teams and are given minutes. Chamanian already indicated they will kept together for u20 WC, so if they have another set of good preparation camps, and add 2-3 more talents that emerge, then they will be in a strong position to succeed on even bigger stage of u20, and add 3-4 more to europe.

Actually, if we can make some good videos of this team, i can share it within my network.
Its not like its huge, but i do have a few lines to Technical Directors in the Dutch Eredivise AND some scouts here.

Also having Varzesh channel and all Euro Football games on TV has helped. Bright kids can pick up ideas rom TV shown matches and all they need is some practice. When Varzesh channel did not exist and when IRIB did not show much o the oreign games we looked weaker

Haven’t paid much notice to his game, but his absence in Mexico game certainly severely weakened our MF presence & possession ..!
I’m hoping that was mostly the case, as we can ill afford to be as toothless in MF & still hope to progress deeper into this tourney.

BTW, about the height of the players.

On Wikipedia, it says Mohammad Sharifi is 6'1
On Transfermarkt it says Taha Shariati is also 6'1.

Taha looks a lot taller though, which is right?
