You guys are so mean. A lot of light skin Iranians like sardar get these bags and dark areas under their eyes. I'm lighter than him and if I don't get enough sleep I low key look pretty fucked up too. It's one of the shitty things about being pale. I honesty just think he is tired since it is the first season in his life that he is playing so many hard games. WCQ, CL, RPL and starting in pretty much all of them.

Back home (from a fking conference) I did watch the highlights. From what i saw and according to what all of you wrote, it was a very clean and delightful match to watch. So happy about that. I am going to watch the entire match afterwards.
This game, once again, is confirming what we have been shouting during all the years:
Pedarjan, defensive playing does not match the iranian mentality. Our mentality is requiring an offensive game tactic, of course by some portion of self confidence and the neccessary team discipline. These 2 attitudes has CQ appearantly succeeded to implement.

Congratulations Iranian friends! Team Melli is truly the strongest team in Asia at the moment. Not necessarily because of two wins against two principal opponents, but, I think, mainly due to the game itself. Although I couldn't watch the matches in whole, I can see from statistics and read from the news that Team Melli fairly outplayed both Uzbekistan and South Korea. Very well organized and highly disciplined team. Tabrik migoyam! Moafaq bashed!

I have been saying this all along this qualifier round and say it again, I truly hope Iran and Uzbekistan qualify directly, while Korea also qualifies as the 3rd team via the playoffs, they've always been a decent team representing Asia in the past 10-15 years, and it would be a shame not to see them in WC.Originally posted by KhumoUzbek View PostComment

Not to get ahead of our selfs here but it can be so that both Uzb and Korea had bad days when they played us. Or totalty miss judged our game plan. Something is not right here... i follow TM since 1998 and never seen us outplay our oppnents, except some low ranked teams, the way we did in these two games. I wounder how we would deal with saudi arabia.Comment

We played well and deserved the win. Queiroz's plan unfolded beautifully.
But I wouldn't be surprised if IFF get suspended for governmental interference again after that shit show of a broadcast.
