Interesting thanks for pointing that out I hadn't realized that. Not sure if that's a negative or a positive thing.Originally posted by Nader25 View Postfor the better or worse TM will know the result of the encounter Korea vs qatar already when the kick off starts vs uzbekistan--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

Why only 3? I can see a straight red card for us within the first minutes, Nekounam and CQ being sent off for complaining and some major injuries for our players aswell.Originally posted by Abtin View PostB... Just give us the 3rd badbakhti digeh
...IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Welcome to the forum. Like many others said, it's unlikely either team will come out and play an attacking game... I suspect the instructions from either coach for the 1st half would be to play conservative and size up the other team.Originally posted by AhadUzbek View PostI have an impression Iran is eager to play an open, attacking football in Tashkent? If that is the case, I think you may lose, because Uzb midfield is stronger (assuming that Ahmedov is not irreplaceable).
Having said that, it's not rare for teams to come out and think that they're opening spaces and/or creating chances beyond the coach's instructions... we saw this in the match against China where Iran looked rather fluid and dynamic in the 1st half with what looked like some open attacking football.
An early goal would definitely open up one side and make for a great match IMHO.

Damn... Ibn Williams has officially been named the referee for the match... wasn't the case when I checked yesterday:
One of his assistants (Matthew Cream) also officiated in the Iran/Iraq match.
On a positive note, CQ sent a nice message to Williams in that video on Varzesh 3 so I hope he keeps his cool during the match if they're some bad calls - we really can't afford to fall apart psychologically/emotionally in this match.
Can't wait btw for this match and also Italy-Spain in Euro WC qualifying later in the day.Last edited by Bi-honar; 10-05-2016, 06:35 AM.
