You should also be worried about him as much as we do. What he did to us against Iraq in Asian national cup in australia as well asOriginally posted by AhadUzbek View PostAnd emotional, we might even see some cards, given the fact that benjamen is always itching to give one...it may be very likely.
gaving a penalty to Saudi Arabia when you won 3-1.
He can change the outcome of the game by giving cards without thinking. He is not a good ref for physical games since expierince shows he loses the control. Poor choice by AFC if not intentionally. IMO unacceptable.

Varzesh mentioned it a while ago and also said that our federation already filled a complaint to AFC so that they would change the referee. Which of course, probably got rejected by AFC.Originally posted by Z Joon View PostIs there any official source that says that Williams will be the ref?? I thought it was just a joke/rumor at first!
What a joke if it's true

I think he is a type of referee that tries to let some tough play but then, he fails to strike a balance between leniency and strictness. Confrontations occur because he initially acts like he is letting some tough play, but the next thing you see he is running around everywhere with his whistle on his mouth and cards in his hands. This frustrates everyone and negatively affects the flow of the match.Originally posted by DireStraits View PostYou should also be worried about him as much as we do. I remember him officiating many matches we had and I always found him annoying because he is constantly blowing his frigging whistle during the match. He makes it look like the match is about him not the two teams.
I am not worried because my expectations for our NT is very low. I will cheer and support them, but if they lose, it is not a big deal for me, I don't have high expectations because I don't think they are well-prepared for this campaign.Haq olinur, berilmas - rights are earned, not granted.

We will learn alot about Iran and Uzbekistan after this match.. I will agree that UZB isn't as good as the last campaign but they do have 6 points and lead the group which is all that matters at this point.Originally posted by AhadUzbek View PostI think he is a type of referee that tries to let some tough play but then, he fails to strike a balance between leniency and strictness. Almost exactly for those words CQ our coach was fined by AFC. Later they gave BW Iran Iraq game. And know Iran UZ. I know he is there to mess up everything. I wouldn't mind seeing something like:
---------------------Beiranvand---------------------
Rezaeian------Hosseini-----PAG--------Mohammadi
---------------Ando----------Ezzat---------------------
-------------------Masoud----------------------------
Jahabakhsh-------Azmoun---------------Hajsafi
Ashkan, Rafiei, Ansarifard, Torabi, Taremi could all be potentially subbed in.

I had a dream the match ended in a 0-0 draw, and the players from both sides had to physically hold Carlos back from breaking Benjamin Williams' face. He was banned from sitting on the bench for the remainder of the qualification. Nekounam took over the bench from there.
People say the adrenaline starts to kick in on the day of the match. I say it begins days or even a week before gameday. You start overthinking the outcome and you have yourselves some crazy dreams.Last edited by teammelli91; 10-02-2016, 02:25 AM.

Doesn't sound like a dream but rather a realistic scenario lol.Originally posted by teammelli1 View PostI had a dream the match ended in a 0-0 draw, and the players from both sides had to physically hold Carlos back from breaking Benjamin Williams' face. As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.
