Tasnim - Ex-Manchester United striker Park Ji-Sung says Iran is an Asian country but its players’ physiques are more like Europeans.

“Iran is in Asia, but the players’ physiques are more like Europeans,” the four-time English Premier League champion said. “They play rough and powerful football, so that’s why opponents have a hard time.”
Only the top two from the group progress automatically to the 2018 World Cup, with third place having to negotiate a play-off route.

Revised PGL Schedule for Tuesday, August 22. This change was done because TM players will be recalled before Thursday.

TM players include in New List will be from Esteghlal, Sepahan, Saipa, Tractor, Zobahan
( + Perspolis) & not from teams playing on Thursday.

chi shod pa, i thought Team Melli will camp in WC in Moscow? Now Kazan?

What is the latest information?

What makes sense: Match should be in that city, where Iran will camp. Also Moscow, which they ruled out, is a good venue, because it is possible Iran landing in russia group and having opening match in moscow. But for team melli it makes more sense to test the facilities in camp, hotel, stadium, to get familiar with the area around the camp. good for our staff and players and enough time to improve things if needed in and around the camp.

As of now there is no Ban.

Taj has the list. He has spoken with two players and he met today with SM to consult.
We shall find out tomorrow.

we have two friendlies in october from 2-10 october if we play russia, we can have another friendly, congo is a good friendly, they are top of thier group and can be a good test for us, from now till march we will ahve 6 fifa date friendlies, we need to make full use of them

If Dejagah didn't get banned for drunk driving no way our veterans will be banned. Those were just bs rumors instigated by Israeli media.

smart move by CQ, moscow is cheaper logistically and is the capital hence is easier to move around via moscow than other cities, we should seal moscow fast

I feel like we can get a better african team than congo, although they have some very good players. Cedric Bakambu up front has been excellent for multiple season as villareal's striker. Masuaku is a starter for west ham, also Chancel Mbemba ( Newcastle ) , and Ikoko ( PSG ) are good players. Most of their players are from belgian league actually. Still id rather see us play against like of Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Ghana, and definitely Algeria/Egypt.
