LOL. We have come full circle. The board complained when Iranian companies were making jerseys and criticized IFF for not pursuing Adidas, Nike, etc. Now the board wants to go back to Merooj. I honestly see both sides of the argument, I just find it interesting.

Guys...we did try to have Uhlsport and then Iranian brands but they were all rejected by CQ because of having bad quality. What makes you think he would accept them after the WC?

    Correctomundo..!!
we dont give a flyingFK about CopyRights and other BS anyways..... so our Domestic manufacturers dont even have to waste their time trying to come up with a unique design from scratch..!!
just like what Koreans do with their cars, just pick out the already market proven design winners from multiple other manufacturers and combine it into one Unique Looking Finished Jersey that incorporates the best Design and Technical features from each and every one of them..!

Perfect if the brand names don't want to sponsor us or properly sponsor us, then we'll just steal their shit!

MUCH about the ClimaCool, Dri-Fit , CoolGear, HotGear, blah blah blah are IS really MARKETING HYPE, sure they make a performance difference but its not nearly as much as the respective companies claim it does ...!! The Overall Quality and the Grade Level of the Blank Material of the finished Garments is what makes the most Significant difference in its overall quality performance and then the General Design of the finished product, such as placement of ventilation in strategic areas & etc..!

like others mentioned i thought a good example of a good finished product by a domestic company was the Daie's Iran jersey pic below

it had a soft, buttery feel to it and had adequate cooling features under arms and a well designed yaghe, which although stylish and unique was comfortable to wear and it didnt stick to your neck chocking you ..!

besides, a domestic company can pay extra $$s to a factory in china or elswhere to make a different Grades of their Jersey, some higher quality ones for TM and cheaper Replica versions of it for the fans and masses ..! afterall thats pretty much what even the big brands do..!! Fking Puma did it to us in 2006 and so did Uhlsport in 2014..!
    Exactly!

Exactly how hard is it to produce good quality jerseys? I remember the Daei brand jerseys we had back in the day were actually pretty good quality, they were very light and comfortable. And Iranian companies would actually give a damn and put some effort into the design.

But who knows we may actually end up with something decent from Adidas/IFF on May 19th..

Im telling you guys merooj makes really clean, quality designs for Zob ahan. And that is with limited color option (Green/white), add in TM's red, and the fact that it is TM and a huge platform for them, and Im sure they will make us beautiful kits and training wear. And they would be incentivized to make sure everybody can order from their site

That is , if they pass TM quality standards.

i’m sure the players also prefer to wear cheap merooj, daei or mammad manghali brands over nike or adidas.

However, Adidas is a big fat greedy corporation like many others. They don't do business in Iran for 2 reasons.
    1 - No guaranteed pre-orders
2 - fear of even one transaction of money between Iran and Germany getting them sanctioned beyond recognition by US Treasury.
They don't give a f*** about copyright, level of the team, love of fans... just the bottom line.
    F*** em all.
Glad Merooj, Shekari and other Iranian brands will get a chance again - hopefully with better quality.
