Futsal not added to 2020 Olympics

Question, How many nations actually do play baseball? Like have a proper league and so on. I know USA and Japan does.

From what I understand, these 5 sports (Karate, baseball, surfing, climbing and skateboarding) will only be added for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo because they are popular in the host nation. The reason is to attract more of the local audience.

In that case, I am assuming that these sports will not be there from 2024 and onward.

Anyway, karate is good for us. The rest are useless.

Just like most other organizations in the world, IOC is another corrupt organization that can be "persuaded" by lobbying and other "donations". Surfing is an expensive sport that will generate good amount of money for them.

I think every nation out there has a futsal team, But i guess if south american countries do play it as well as asian ones it should be in there. Problem is that its another sport which just equals an american win same as basketball.

Not necessarily. Japan, Cuba, South Korea and the Dominican Republic have very strong teams every year.

In fact in the 3 World Baseball Classics so far Japan has won twice and Dominican Republic once. While I think America is still the strongest team, its less dominant than in Basketball.

They should scratch Football and replace it with Futsal.
Why?
Since Football is the only Olympic sport that gives a Gold medal
to athletes that are not the best in the world. It's essentially
a Junior Tournament whereas in every other sport, the best
in the world gets a Gold medal.
The World Cup is really what the Olympic Football is supposed to be
bet can not so they should just scratch it.

Horse Riding at first was just an excuse for members of royal families to say their kids are Olympians.
