tbh it doesnt matter. He was one of the best performers this season and gained the praise of the entire league, coaches, players, and media included. Very likely he goes to either Panathaikos or Olympiakos now. I think he may even have some offers from spanish league. But I think he will remain in greece and seeing as panionios are in Europa League next year, him staying where he is will be fine too.

Honestly Panathinaikos would be smart if they sign Masoud.

Why? Well because assuming Iran qualifies to the World Cup, Masoud's motivation to keep his starting role in Team Melli increases. Which means that he will play his best game for whichever club he's playing for in the 2017-2018 season.

Not to mention that once he goes to the World Cup and if he performs well, his price will increase which will be a good investment for Panathinaikos.

The only downfall is that Masoud is prone to getting injured. I'm hoping he stays healthy and plays smart football. We all know he can get emotional while playing for Iran.
