What's up with Haghighi though? I've never seen Beiranvand play so idk how good he is, but im sure Haghighi can still perform better than Beiranvand, even if he is out of form?

Haghighi is too shaky, Beiranvand is simply more consistent and solid. Besides he is also much younger and talented, he's probably going to be Iran's gk for the years to come. I would also put Mazaheri ahead of Haghighi

The good thing of having JB-Dejagah-Torabi in 4-2-3-1, is you can practically rotate the position of all 3 players, depending on game strategy as JB can play as right and left winger, Ashkan can play RW, CAM, LW, same as Torabi, so it gives more flexibility to coach.

Guys, what you are forgetting is that, there is no way that TM will play 4-4-2, against better opposition we must play 4-3-3 as it gives an advantage in the middle.

Haghighi and Ando are out of form right now, especially Haghighi who I'm pretty sure lost his 1st place to Beiranvand already. I also don't see why Mazaheri should be behind Haghighi

Has he really though? Haghighi hasn't been great, but we haven't seen anything special from Beiranvand or Mazaheri to say that Haghighi has lost his place. Against Macedonia Beiranvand was not really good against Macedonia. So I think until other goalkeepers show something, CQ will trust Haghighi.

He isn't getting playing time yet. besides, we can't just field too much inexperienced young players at the same time vs a decent team like Qatar
