Well, he is going to Germany with Al Arabi for pre season preparation... This source says that he might stay with his team after all but I don't see how since Al Arabi currently has 7 foreign players, including one asian player who joined the team on loan from another QSL team. As far as I know the rule in QSL is that teams can't have more than 4 foreign players in the squad (just like in Iran) but maybe they changed it?

That could be a true hypothesis. But in my opinion, Qatar is trying to diversify their population. They just don't want Arabs in their demographics, and according to your 60 days hypothesis for 4 foreign players, that becomes a very slow process. So it is possible that they have changed their rules to speed up more naturalized players by including more foreign players in their teams. A rule just like in England, but with the naturalization process for all their players, thus creating a bigger pool to select from when its 2020 or possibly the future.Originally posted by arash123 View PostI thought you become a Qatari national for living there for 60 days, you know....like 90% of their NT

He will probably stay in Qatar... the Qataris will overpay him to keep his skills in a degrading state.Originally posted by Iranianarsenal11 View PostOne more year… so basically they are going to keep him until he's out of his prime. Expect Dejagah to go to a low-tier Bundesliga team next season… If we are lucky that is.. :/"I'm here to clean the carpets. Most of the world is carpeted. And, one day, we will do the cleaning."

Gucci was loaned to Kuwait and Qatar, meaning he was still a player belonging to a European team (Charlton). Askhan is property of a Qatari team right now :-(Originally posted by ehsan singapore View Postis sad, alot of ppl were saying the same thing about gucci but now he is back in europe after he relize how crappy kuwait league is, and qatar league is the same also.
ASHKAN LEAVE QATAR ASAP!
The only thing he has going for him is his German upbringing, so there will be offers for him to go back to Europe, but he will take a severe paycut, like Masoud.
On a separate note I should also bring up that Panonios would give Masoud more money, but they are pretty much broke"I'm here to clean the carpets. Most of the world is carpeted. And, one day, we will do the cleaning."
