I don't think rankings are our barrier...Sweden, Chile as examples. It's IFF that is the problem. They reach out to countries last minute or cancel arrangements. They are not the most forward thinking bunch. Thailand's king dies, they say no to friendly and IFF has been twittling thumbs since then.

I agree, even if Iran is top 15 they wont get better friendlies. It takes an organized and respected federation who's not so concreted about pocketing money to get good friendlies. Teams below Iran ranking get good friendlies all the time. Who do we get? Singapour, Mouzambique, Lebanon. lol Iran has been #1 team in Asia for years. Let's see who Japan, Korea, Aussies are playing lol
