CQ had told him at the beginning of the season to go for goals this year and that if he could produce a 10G 10A season Big clubs will be after him. 10G 8A is not so bad and considering if his tea mates took their chances better AJ could've easily had a 10G 15A this year. It would be unjust if good clubs don't come knocking for him.

you guys should always use transfermarkt for stats. Its the most accurate. Alireza prior to todays games had 10 goals and 9 assists in all competetions. After his goal and assist today which hasnt registered yet, he will be at 11 goals and 10 assists. If the goal isnt given as his, it will still count as an assist, so he would therefore have 10 goals and 11 assists. Either way great return given how shit AZ have been this year.

i guess him transferring or staying put is mostly dependent on AZ's ambitions for next year and how tight is their budget currently..!!?
doubt if they get anymore than 7-8mil for him in transfer fees..!!? and they got him on the hook still for 3 more years.
conventional wisdom suggests AZ would keep him on the books for one more season and let him hit his peak and improve his consistency @ AZ just strengthen their D a bit for next season, wait for ARJ to likely prominently feature for TM at WC18, then sell him up @ his peak market value after WC..!!
