why did you remove the rest of my post from the quote?Originally posted by Kiarash View PostDon't want to ruin the parade here but Go Ahead Eagles are ranked 18th in the Eredivisie, so scoring against them isn't exactly going to attract big teams. Nonetheless great goal and great to see he has recovered well from dealing with his ill mother.
I was alluding to the fact that he has 6 goals and 6 assists in 16 games that big clubs will be looking at him, not the fact he scored a brace against GAE.

IMO, he has already gotten somewhere in Europe! If he can start to score those goals too, he'll get close to become a world class player! Then, as CQ was saying, the big clubs will come for him!Originally posted by Babak agha View Post^He has to start scoring those goals to if he wants to get anywhere within Europe.

Ali Reza is one of those players that you just have to love. Such a wonderful personality and such a professional attitude. He has really established himself in the Dutch league. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a move to Bundesliga or another league in the summer. I think ARJ will finish the season with about 10+ goals and 10+ assists which are great stats for a winger.

I agree. If he stays fit and healthy, given AZ usually ramp it up in second half of the season, he will have over ten goals and ten assists. I see him moving to monchengladbach, hertha berlin, possibly even leverkusen level team or ajax. He himself has talked about his admiration for bundesliga before so I could see it. Plus his direct style, off the ball work fit bundesliga well.
I pray he doesnt go to some kiri midtable, low table team in england like so many good dutch league talents.

Fair play to AJ. He had a goal, and stuck to it till the end. We see the finished product and are impressed, but it's important to realise hours of hard work has gone into it. All I can say is that his facial hair is inspirational for youngsters like me.
Oh yeah, his goal wasn't bad either.

That's what I meant of course.. he'll never be a Ronaldo, but is he starts scoring goals regularly, he might end up at a team like Everton or something.Originally posted by Sly View PostIMO, he has already gotten somewhere in Europe! Exactly! but why couldn't he even become a Ronaldo? I mean if he works hard, progresses well, and continues to scores goals even in a team like Everton, I don't know why bigger teams wouldn't come for him! As Michael J. Fox said in the "Back to the Future" movies, if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything!Originally posted by Babak agha View PostThat's what I meant of course.. he'll never be a Ronaldo, but is he starts scoring goals regularly, he might end up at a team like Everton or something.
