If so, Alireza, Sardar and Said should have all returned to IPL long time ago, as none of them were playing for their team in the first few weeks.

If he is patient, clever and works hard,he can impose himself on the team.

People really don't understand. This is insane. The season just started. Dinamo is a great team. They are a CL-level team. For him to make the leap right away from Sepahan to Dinamo is not going to happen. We need to wait a year for him to acclimate. He will get his chances.

What a defeatist attitude. If he comes back to Sepahan right now, his career is done. No one ever did anything great from Sepahan or any team in Iran.

For now he seems to be bought for their B team who compete in Croatia's 2nd league. Let's see where he stands after this season.

Azmoun wasn't a mainstay with Sepahan. He wasn't getting playing time at Rubin initially but then did and he was signed to Rostov, and main reason they are in CL.

The rest didn't go anywhere. Their names are lost in history.

Azmoun was a Sepahan Youth academy product which is the best academy in Iran for the talents they create. Everyone knew Azmoun was the next big thing when he was 16 so that's why he went abroad but Ghalenoei was the first to notice his talents when he was with Sepahan

I understand you're a fan of Sepahan. But they don't have a long history of creating young prospects that go to Europe and flourish. No team in Iran does. This has to change and it is with initiatives like KIA FC. Right now, Zob Ahan is killing the talents of Reza Shekari, who is on the same wavelength as Ezatollahi and Azmoun.

Karimi was many years at Sepahan. No one really noticed him but now that he's at Dinamo, he will get noticed. Dinamo's practices are more valuable than starting for Sepahan.

Is not only about not playing, is about not making the bench even, we are not talking about Bayern Munich here..

That is something that disappoint me, we really really lowered our expectation, 10-12 years a go people were bitching why Vahid is constantly bench warmer in Bayern now these days it seems not making to the squad of a team like Dinamo became acceptable!

To be honest at this stage i can rate 4-5 DM in Iran better than Karimi: Ando, Saeid, Kamyabinia, Cheshmi and Omid Ebrahimi

Yes, we don't have footballers like Daei, Karimi, Mahdavikia and Hashemian like before. This is a fact. We hope that Sardar Azmoun and Ezatollahi can surpass them. But they got to where they got at the primes of their career. ARJ, SE and SA are young, very young.

The problem with Ali Karimi is that we are just in September. He's just one year older than Sardar. Wait 6 months to a year. I guarantee you the training and access he has now is 10x more than what he had at Sepahan. So let's wait and see. No one is happy he's not even on the bench. But we understand it's a process, that's all.

Why do you waste your time debating with illogical people every week? These same people who criticize and complain every week would find something else to blame on/criticize karimi even if he were starting. There are some people, especially on pfdc, that only view things in a negative way.

So true… FFS it hasn't even been 2 months and people are pissing on Karimi for not playing. HE WILL GET THERE EVENTUALLY

Iran_19 you need to stop crying so much. Honestly it's not the end of the world if we don't have Iranians in the top 5. As long as they're in good European leagues we'll be fine. Let it go...

Well, it's a discussion forum and got to state some truths - although patience running thin

                                This week:

                                - Karim got one goal and one assist. Masoud started and played well for 90 min in his first game.
                                - Reza Gucci scored
                                - Alireza Jahanbaksh scored (2nd in league now in goals)
                                - Milad Mohammadi played well for 90 minutes vs. the best team in Russia in front of a packed house in one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world.
                                - Azmoun and Ezatollahi both came on as subs. This is in spite of the fact they were both dead tired, that's how much the coach revers them.

This is progress. I know it's not as good as the Daei, Hashemian days, but much better than where we were last year.
