What a good game it turned out to be. I was impressed, much better then I expected considering that teams have yet to find their chemistry. Great attacking football and good pace to the game. I am a little concerned about Zobahan though. They lost 3 key players in, H.Mohammadi, K.Rezaei and Hassanzadeh, and Hadadifar will be out for 4 months. Bengston has to fill up a big gap upfront. Anyone know who this Veisi guy is?? He doesn't look that bad. On the bright side it's good to see M.Ghanbari is back. He played a good game and I would give him a shot at LB for TM.

I think this IPL season will be a good one. All teams look good at least on paper.

The penalty itself was very questionable. I watched the replay a couple times, but there wasn't much in it for me. Regarding the redo, every keeper comes forward when the penalty is hit at least 1 meter. You never see any ref call it, mostly the refs often redo the penalty when the players behind the ball rush into the box before the shot is hit. I rarely see any ref call a redo on a keeper taking one step forward when the penalty is taken.

Actually it is being called more often now, If a goalkeeper jumps forward he has a huge advantage, remember in the Euros when Subasic saved Ramos' penalty and there was a huge controversy about the referee's none call. As for the penalty, I don't think it was a penalty either, there is no way he could have got out of the way and his arm is right beside his body.

Morteza Tabrizi of Zobahan is an extremely good player! and here we are complaining about lack of a good CAM in TM! He should really be trusted more by CQ!

He's fast, strong, tall and fights a lot! He's a very good passer and has got a good nose for scoring goals as well. He's more or less got it all and seems to be in form since last season too!
