Not even close. This is not the Ajax of 20 years ago or even 10. They are the 2nd best team in Holland now, maybe even 3rd.

As said, they did beat Jahanbakhsh's AZ with a goal difference of 3, in both the home and away games last season. but what makes you think second or third team of the Dutch league is beatable by the second team of Russia? I think some of you guys' expectation of the Russian league is too high!

Anyone heard anything like this? It says Berdyev signed two years deal with with Spartak and taking Sardar with him, hard to believe though, didn't they both extend their contract?!?!

Russian football is messed up. I don't get it.
They have the worst tendencies of Asian and European football.
They've all been registered for the league. It would be very difficult for them to play for any other team this season (at least before the winter break).

That will be crazy, not a good news for Sardar or even Saeid. Sardar had finally a chance to play some CL games.

Only Taremi and Rezaeian can change teams twice in the same transfer window This won't happen, or at least, Azmoun won't leave as it would be his 2nd transfer as well as he is registered in the league with Rostov

The only team Azmoun should play for in Russia is Rostov. If he wants to transfer to another team it should be a club in La Liga / Bundesliga / Serie A.

The timing of it would suggest Probably bs scare tactics to put public pressure on Rostov managment ..!?
they are probably still behind paying Berdievs paycheck or adhere to his transfer wish demands. ..!

Looks like Berdyev is out and gone to Spartak... With that being said, Rostov will manage to keep Sardar and will probably lose in the group stages if they somehow beat Ajax. Expect Sardar and Bastos to leave Rostov by this winter if Berdyev is gone. Wow.

Nothing official yet . Spartaks coach is still there . Berdyev is obviously pushing hard to get money out of the club for himself and transfer ( isn't Russian transfer window shut ???)

Sardar is making a name for himself. Dutch media are calling him the star player of Rostov and they are saying that Ajax should really fear Azmoun.
No doubt that his name is also getting bigger and bigger with the scouts of big clubs. It would be huge for him if he manages to score against Ajax and take Rostov to the CL.
Right now he is the biggest Talent of Iran and probably also Russia, if he gets to play in the CL and does well he'll be considered that of Europe and the World.
When was the last time an Iranian player was considered among the best talents in the world? Something special he is, this kid.
Hopefully Saeeid could follow his footsteps!

So it looks like Berdyev is leaving, i doubt Azmoun join him anytime soon, best case scenario will be winter transfer maybe. Spartak is an upgrade of Rostov but Sardar need to have a great season, score 15(or+) goals and leave Russia for better league, 4 seasons is more than enough.
