Yes he is a regular player and did play against ajax. He started and scored against anderlecht in the first qualifier and scored in the League game before yesterdays game. he played last twenty minutes against Ajax yesterday.

He doesn't start every game in the same way that Azmoun does when he's fit/eligible but he's slowly working his way towards grabbing that starting position. He's only 19 so understandably he's not been the consensus CM right away, though he's close to being a starter (he often comes off the bench in many games, for now). My prediction is that due to his positive performances he will be a game in game out starter by 2 months from now.
