Unfortunately that's a negative point, it's common that sometimes no one knows a player when he's in Iran but the second he leaves to Europe you have thousands of experts that pop out of nowhere and act like die-hard fans

As it was said in previous posts about Haghighi right now he's in the same category as 3-4 other keepers we have and no one is clearly better although I think it will only get worse for Haghighi from now on, he's not getting any match time for long now and is accumulating below-average performances in TM, can't see any European team wanting him for anything else than being a backup. Playing in Europe is not a very big deal for goalkeepers especially, unless you are playing week in week out against top class players, and the fact that the best keepers in our history never played outside Iran proves it. Warming the bench in Europe does absolutely nothing but contributing to a player's regression, I give Haghighi props for trying his luck but it's clear that unfortunately he's not improved although he has been given lots of chances in TM since his surprise starting role at the WC
