it's good that the best club in Asia wants our players for the first time ever, FC Seoul have a fat better record in the ACL than the Chinese teams do , he's also playing with some top Korean players. What I like about Tafazoli is he really wants to play and knows he won't go straight in the team unlike Esteve and face it we are second choice for Ghoddos. Please watch and Subscribe:

Peterborough United 2:1 Plymouth Argyle:
*Ryan started the match and played the full 90 mins.
*Ryan received a rating of 7 by the Peterborough Telegraph.
"Ryan Tafazolli: Played as the left-sided central defender and after getting caught out by the pace of Jake Jervis in the second minute, he settled down to play very well. His confidence in possession was very encouraging 7."

EFL Cup - Peterborough United 1:3 Barnet:
*Ryan started the match and played the full 90 mins.
*Ryan handled the ball to award Barnet a PK for the 3rd goal.
"The midfielder's free-kick after 58 minutes was then adjudged to have been handled in the wall by Ryan Tafazolli and Coulthirst stepped up to score the penalty, although the ball dribbled in after Bond got a hand to it."
Ryan also had a late header denied off the woodwork:
"Posh had a good chance to pull a goal back, but Barnet goalkeeper Jamie Stephens turned Tafazolli's header onto the bar."
Shaquile Coulthirst scores from the spot against his former club as Barnet upset Peterborough in the EFL Cup first round.

Peterborough United 2:0 Southampton U21:
*Checkatrade Trophy - First match of group stage
*Ryan started the match and played the full 90 mins.
*He received a rating of 7
"Ryan Tafazolli Defensively sound but prone to giving away possession with either wayward passing or sliced clearances. Yet he gave Southampton’s defence a torrid time at set-pieces. Unlucky not to score. 7"
"Tyreke Johnson’s inswinging left-footer into Johnson was quickly snuffed out by a Posh defence well marshalled by former Saints U18 captain Tafazolli. who spent four years at Mansfield before moving on last year.
Slattery had a cross blocked and the resulting corner was headed away by Tafazolli.
Tafazolli’s header was well saved by McCarthy, before Morias was applauded off ahead of Peterborough’s trip to Doncaster on Saturday."

After yesterday against a very physical Al Soma and Kim Shin-wook of South Korea. We can see we lack some height and physical strength at the back. Pouraliganji and Ansari are just over 6 foot tall. In my opinion we need a player over 6'3 alongside Pouraliganji. Montazeri isn't too bad but he's getting old of course, Hosseini is also just over 6 foot. If you ask me, we need Tafazolli.
I'd be surprised if Tafazolli is not called up against Russia, especially since Russia have Dzyuba.
