It's the Iranian mentality, whomever we lose to, they become the biggest villains on earth.Originally posted by Zamboor View Postlol the Bosnia hate on this forum is getting ridiculous. Its almost worse than the Iraqi/Qatari/Saudi hate.
This unfortunately is the precise definition of "Sore loser" mentality

Funnily enough, here in LA we have had a very popular radio station (Amongst the older people) which is called KIRIN 670AM, However when they run their own commercials, they never say "KIRIN" they only say the letters: K...i...R...i...NOriginally posted by Abtin View Post1) Imagine if Iran participated, KIRIn cup
2) Well, I couldnt recognize any of Bosnian stars either, seems to be a very experimental squad.

I think this is excessive. It's what fans do! Lebron James hits a triple triple on the Raptors, fans boo him every time he touches the ball next game. Sidney Crosby scores the golden goal to win gold, US fans boo team Canada and Sid every time he is on the ice. This is how rivalries in sports are built; however in football it seems excessive because the next successive match to play your dreaded opponent may be months but more likely years away (if from WC) and thus it takes a long time to squash the "hate" and more exposure to it exists unlike other professional sports.Originally posted by Keano View PostIt's the Iranian mentality, whomever we lose to, they become the biggest villains on earth.

If a team starts to file complaints against every entity to avoid playing or contest a loss and it's fans seem to think it's justified even in excess that is more like a sore loser. Perhaps you can consider what the Saudi's are doing to avoid playing in Iran against Iran at all costs (but seem ok with playing other nations in Iran). One might argue this is us with Iraq, but I feel we aren't all hung up on AC but rather our animosity towards Iraq is more sociopolitical based which often influences sports.
Now booo Bosnia can't wait to beat them next time!

So after all that praise for Japan and bashing of Bosnia, The Bosnians come out on top and win the cup 2-1 in the finals over Japan. Goes to show that one match means nothing in the world of sport. Teams can have good days and bad days. This is why we shouldn't always judge just based upon results and focus more on giving our teams the best resources to help grow as a whole instead."History is a set of lies that people have agreed upon,"
