Louis van Gaal is unemployed... Although I'm not sure Western Europeans (non-Mediterranean) would be able to put up with life in Iran.

Tite from Corinthians would also be a good option and has already coached in the middle east before.

Great, thanks for your opinion. CQ will be leaving in 2 years. Most good/organized national(even club) boards would have a list for next coach in mind. This is only feeding on discussion on who could potentially be able to fill in CQ shoes (which is a hard task). 1)He obviously is passionate about the team 2)Loved by players and fans 3)Handles IFF well 4)Defensive tactic that has gotten Iran to #1 spot in Asia for a while now.

Think back to 2010. Did you think anyone here had any idea CQ would be our coach?
This is why it's a stupid thread. No one here can speculate what the IFF wants to do after CQ and no one knows who is even interested in the job.

This is more of finding if there are any coaches out there like CQ. It is called speculating. Same way that we speculate game line-ups. I don't think the thread is much about who will IFF pick, but rather listing foreign coaches with the "potential" to be head of TM based on PDFC member opinions.
For example: Many members mentioned Berd. Does that mean he will be picked by IFF or whether Berd is interested in the job? No. It just shows that members find Berd to be a coach that would be good for TM and a realistic choice.
