Salaries in Iran for players is now at insane levels.
When you have corruption in the country. having salaries at a Seria A level for a player that is at a Seria D level is not too much out of question.

he's probably the best CB in the league as of right now when you consider experience and young age with Kanaani being out of form, and probably the only left footed CB. Not sure why he was never called up to TM...the one showing he had vs Algeria was pretty impressive. Wasted 3 years IMO.

does not matter, no iranian player is worth that much inside IPL. if he goes to Europe I will give him that much. But no team in europe will pay that much for this player.

Vahid Hashemian is our new head coach.

Apparently Bagheri and Khanban will be his main assistants.

          Now we need some players.
Every contender in the league has had money to spend, but Persepolis. Lost out on so many good players already.

I am wishing he does really well. I don't know if he knows enough politics to handle the club management, the player egos, our professional press and fan pressure. He strikes me as a my way or the highway kinda guy.

The war with Israel and the exodus of foreign coaches and players is a boon for our domestic talent. So he will be competing mostly with vatani coaches and Sao Pinto (who is more kaleh shagh than vatanis).

Hope he does well but i am not positive at all!

^ I share the same sentiments with you guys but also pray that he does well. We need to change the foreign coach trend that only takes our money and doesn't give us anything. Vahid is a real gentleman.

He can do well but he needs to stamp himself onto the scene.

If he doesnt want to deal with player egos than Sir Alex had a great solution for it, get rid of them.

Replace with hungry young players. Rebuild the team.

I really like the move to bring in Vahid Hashemian as I believe he has the most upside for a few reasons

                      - has a much higher level of knowledge of the game compared to any domestic option with his education in Europe and career credentials alone

                      - has a very professional attitude….never involved in any BS or hashieh

                      - understands the value of prioritizing young players and will actually give them a chance.

                      - similar to all the points above, he understands the value in building something over a period of time. he will think about the long term success of the club and not just short term as long as he is afforded the time.

                      - he is someone a lot of the players who are playing under him have looked up to as a role model, that can have a lot of positive implications too.

……..this is all best case scenario of course and I know this is an optimistic view, but it’s one that’s also realistic IMO. Of course there are variables that can come into play and tear some of this down, let’s hope that’s not the case and Vahid is successful

Given the years of playing in top Bundesliga teams and the professionalism he learned from these top clubs and football environment in general, he is absolutely one of the best available options we had at hand. He is a true class-act and drama-free individual who can contribute a lot to the team and our football.

Amir Hossein Peyrovani was also added as one of Hashemian's assistants and that got backlashed by the fans on Perspolis' IG page. Almost 19K of rants...

Ale Kasir gets 11 billion tomans from Esteghlal in Iran without even a day of practice. I guess he really screwed them inside and outside of the pitch. wow

These damn club executives spend shamelessly because it's not their money and they will never be held accountable.
Serge Aurier has hepatitis and Persepolis signed him before a single medical test! Now Persepolis will have to spend so much money to just buy out his contract.

^ stupidity is a trade in Iran nowadays. Football is just a show to keep people busy to not think of real problems. I have lost interest personally.
