Of course they do, what were we thinking? Are we that gullible to have thought an Arab country in the region, neighboring a large part of its borders with the Saudis, root for Iran? I had no doubt this will be a home match for the Saudis, worse comes to worse, the Saudis would just drive there, not even flying would be needed to get there.

What's the history behind these celebrations? I haven't been following Iran's football during the time they last played Saudi Arabia. So why do they do those celebrations? What's the story behind them?
