Is this a definite thing or speculation about Givova? Have they really inked a contract? And for how long time?

Just checked their homepage Givova.com and they are announcing their sponsorship there. I wonder if it has anything to do with the current visit of the Italian PM and the big Italian delegation that is accompanying him in Tehran right now?!

Difference with Unicef is that it's a not for profit organization that people give money to. If people see Team Melli wearing a jersey they will go and donate. What can people do if they see a cheetah on a jersey?
Barcelona for example has had Unicef on their logo as well:

Alright guys, I emailed Givova the designs, lets wait and see what they say. I doubt they will consider any of them though since varzesh3 said that the design will be revealed in 3 weeks, so that means they have probably already come up with a design.

Looking at those Chievo Verona kits made me more optimistic I have to say. If they make a unique kit for TM and not just a dull/generic one it should look quite decent

i highly doubt we will get a template kit considering were there biggest team, club or international. I think we will get something unique maybe similar to Chievos kits which are beautiful.

Green didn't bring us luck on many occasions, is it Mohammad Taghavi on 3rd picture, first sitting from left? btw, do you know occasion for first two pictures? first one should be around 87-88 and second one around 88-89

I don't like Givova's logo, it is a kid draw it and the size is too huge (+ on each sleeve)

Yes it is Taghavi.
The first picture is our 2-2 friendly tie with Japan in Azadi in January of 1989.
The second is our 1-0 win against Bangladesh in Azadi during World Cup qualifiers in March of 1989.

they have done a very impressive job on their kits..!! i think there is a very good chance of Givova essentially changing the colors of the Home Verona kit to White/Red/Green and add yoozpalang in place of that "Knight?"..!

as evident in all three of Verona's kits, Just Color-Blocking and/or adding a big shadow-logo of the team's Mascot or Coat of Arms in the body of the jersey renders it a more Original or Unique style, while it really isnt...!
@its core, its essentially their "World" Polo style jersey Templet that the boys been tweaking to Iran's color all along in this thread...!



i love what they done to their 3rd Kit color blocking..!! just judging from these pics, the jerseys show good quality material..!!? definitely an upgrade over the material quality of Uhlsport, even their supposed original WC14 ones we shelled out $70 to get from reputable soccer shops..!!

wonder if TM has ever had a 3rd kit ...!!??

looks Sharp...!! I'd gladly $70+ buck for this, especially if the material quality was on par to that of Chievo's.... and that WC18 Badge looks dope opposite of Givova logo ...!
but as i mentioned earlier, there would be very slim chance of seeing the classy integration of Yoozplang as depicted in your shirt, as its gonna be more expensive/requiring difficult print process to spot it on sleeve and body..!!

Givova's Logo seem to me as a definite play on Nike Swoosh (the most valuable and recognized Logo in the world) Check-Mark..!! its a shrewd attempt..!!
and the reason you see that logo slapped all over their sponsored's teams shirt and shorts is pure and simple Marketing/essentially TV exposure...!!
Nike started that trend a while back by over-sizing the shitt outa their SWOOSH on their EPL Sponsored teams jersey, so they show up clearly on all TV camera angles as the game being played and in the peoples faces...!! Later on PUMA took it another step by putting their Logo in multiple location on the kit (as in our WC06 Jersey) so from every camera angle their logo will always appear front and center in the viewers faces..!!
