I like the guy and what he did for TM since he joined us but man he made too many wrong choices when it came to club career. Dutch league was best fit for him but he kept insisting playing in championship after Belgium failure and Arab league i understand he needs to secure his life as you can't play football forever but why at peak of your career?

Circumstances or not...as a striker it's your job to score. There are tons of strikers who still bag in 10 goals despite being in relegation danger, having no feeding from the midfield at all, mismatch in playing system, etc...example: Ross MocCormack, striker for Fulham who are just above the relegation zone in the Championship. That guy has 19 goals, I expect Reza to do the same since the first one mentioned is literally a nobody.Originally posted by Ghermez Agha View PostWhich is why a rational person won't just look at stats, you have to consider his circumstances as well.
I know we tend to defend our legionnaires even when they are doing bad because we want the best for them, but his situation at Charlton is unbearable. It reminds me of Karim's bad spell at Osasuna, we believed in him but it was all clear that he just didn't cut it.
He made the wrong choice, wasted 2 years in Kuwait and Qatar and didn't prove himself when he came back this season. Lets be objective for once. He would do fine in some 2nd tier league like Eredivisie, since he is a very opportunistic striker but he's just not Championship material (neither his teammates are, but still).

@best, Dutch, Belgium, or may be some 2nd division spain team..!
likely Gutter or some other shite arab league..!!
considering he couldnt even muster regular starts in both Kuw8 nor Gutter, and as Nokhodi mentioned getting married to a homegirl, then IPL is suddenly the most likely ..! i'd guess PP or hopefully some mashhad based team.!

Is Taremi's departure determined and confirmed or you're just anticipating?Originally posted by 04041374 View PostPerspolis as a replacement of Mehdi Taremi, that would be interesting. On the other side, I would rather want him to stay in Europe.
I see him either back at one of Belgian or Dutch leagues, or maybe back to the Persian Gulf states.

No, I was just guessing. The chance of him leaving for Europe is 50:50, since there is much pressure on him to stay.Originally posted by Keano View PostIs Taremi's departure determined and confirmed or you're just anticipating?

Interestingly, one of Branko's conditons to extend his contract was to extend Taremi's contract as well. But that didn't happen so far.
