Haghighi could've signed with Sassuolo who are currently 7th in Serie A, but he wasn't guaranteed a spot and chose Penafiel instead. Due to his performance in Penafiel, he is known among Portuguese experts, fans and journalists. He wants to take step by step to play in a good European team in a few years.
