Agree...but did you see Jordan, Oman Qatar, Lebanon in the final round nobody attended the games. No footballing culture...

I watched Korea-Jordan but Korea wasn't that good. They were lucky not to concede the equalizer thanks to the stupid ref. The loss to Qatar really destroyed our dream.

The Olympic games are a place for our young players to showcase their talent in front of the world. It's to gain experience, become better and get noticed by EU scouts. It's a pretty important tourney, probably the third most prestigious out there. World Cup, Asian Cup (for AFC teams) and Olympic Games as a good third with probably Confederations Cup followed as fourth. We should not have missed out on this at all.

The Olympic Games appearance gives our young players more chances to be scouted by European clubs.
