SS with the better start, but Perspolis slowly took over and missed the greatest chance not only of the game, but probably of the whole season so far. Towards the game it was more even, but again it was Perspolis with the 2nd biggest chance - again saved by Mehdi Rahmati.

I am tired of these anti-derby comments. It’s actually a good match, better than what we have seen in the last years. Some of you are talking as if all other PGL games are super exciting. If you expect an El Clasico I suggest you not to watch the match to begin with. All these useless comments will only make the derby worse.

Rahmati is a great goal keeper, especially in 1v1 and balls that need quick reflexes. he was also decent in penalties. He just had problem with set-pieces and for some reason accurate and powerful long shots

agree rahmati is good, but honestly he cant help that well, freekick and through ball he is weak

I agree with you PK jan, I just think the teams are not playing to their full potential and they are taking the fans for granted. they need to play with more intensity.

Tehran Derby needs some competition. Too bad the Gilan derby is not happening due to Damash relegating. I hope Mashin Sazi Tabriz promotes to PGPL so we can have the classic Tabriz derby between Machin Sazi and Tractor Sazi back.

Back in the old days of provincial leagues, these two teams had a huge rivalry.
