Overall a good exciting game. PP definitely deserved at least a tie. EsES barely managed to keep possession for 30 seconds at a time after they scored and ultimately that's what cost them the match IMHO.
As much as PP deserved at least a tie, I think Rahmati also deserved a shut-out in this match and he's the only reason EsEs didn't lose. But then again, if he hadn't rolled around in injury time, I think EsES would have held on to win.Last edited by Bi-honar; 10-30-2015, 06:34 AM.

Rahmati grass rolled to get a win but concede the goal finally.Originally posted by Esteghlali4life View PostAs usual, let the game go until perspolis scores.
Overall Persepolis played better. SS scored but resorted to CQ style of defense which is anti football in my opinion. Persepolis was all attacking, creating opportunities, and playing beautiful football. SS could play better by attacking and possibly scoring more goals. Rahmati is a lot better than Sosha.
Today SS did not lost the match just because of Rahmati and did not win because of the same mentality they had last season "score a goal and go to defensive fold".

Mazloumi thought that lucky punch was enough with his piss poor Iranian tactic, just blindly defending with 11 men in the 2nd half to secure the win and having no plan to counter attack. Yet he comes out and says „I am happy my team played in a way that Perspolis are happy with a draw."...

His team mainly consists of Rahmati & Heydari, but kudos to him though, this works in PGL and he almost went through with it today as well. Esteghlal's finishing in general might be the best in the league, they only had 2 real chances today and one of them was the goal.
FT:
Rahmati 1-1 Perspolis
As much as I was happy with a last minute equalizer, if we review the game the result is actually quite poor (for us). Perspolis played some nice & entertaining football, but heavily lacked finishing skills as usual. We deserved the 3 points, but Rahmati with the best GK performance I have ever seen in a derby and our inability to score resulted to a draw. Overall a fine and "clean" derby, nothing for the haters to complain about.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Horrible comparison! First of all CQ plays defensive when the opponent is superior + he always has a great counter attack plan, not depending on one player overall. But SS is leading the table and played as if they are facing Bayern Munich in the 2nd half, defending with 11 men and not being able to produce one decent counter attack, only relying on Rahmati to save them.Originally posted by PersianLegion View PostSS scored but resorted to CQ style of defense which is anti football in my opinion.
Rahmati wasted time and there was a foul on Taremi close to the box – absolutely nothing wrong with the extra time.Originally posted by Esteghlali4life View PostAs usual, let the game go until perspolis scores.Formerly known as Persianking!
