^ don't dip yourself to their level and give-in to their harrassment. that trash is not worth even talking about, led aside replying to. please keep that out of this thread.
I'm still in shock - keeping his family and friends in my prayers, to give them the strength. May he rest in peace.

But this has happened in europe as well sometimes the doctors just dont find any problems :/ 3 years ago Ivan Turina Goalkeeper for AIK died the same way as our Hadi NorooziOriginally posted by persian-eagle-13 View Postautopsy is due back in 3 weeks. I hope teams in IPL take pre season physical exam serious from now on. In Europe and North America players go through battery of exams before they are even allowed to step on the field.

physical examination that they do and call "medical" in clubs is not enough to detect HCM or other like heart issues. they need to go through a holter monitor (ECG) test and ECHO test. 70% of people with HCM will show an abnormal beat during a holter monitor test and ECHO's can diagnose HCM in patients 80-100% of the time. italy has strict regulations for this and all athletes need to be screened for this before they can compete. infact the sudden death in athletes in italy has gone down 89% since screening was introduced.Originally posted by Zamboor View PostBut this has happened in europe as well sometimes the doctors just dont find any problems :/ 3 years ago Ivan Turina Goalkeeper for AIK died the same way as our Hadi Noroozi
hopefully this is a wake up call in iran and afc, because a lot of young players in lower leagues have died from this in iran.

Are you sure we dont have this in Iran already? just wondering.Originally posted by irani8perspolis View Postphysical examination that they do and call "medical" in clubs is not enough to detect HCM or other like heart issues. they need to go through a holter monitor (ECG) test and ECHO test. 70% of people with HCM will show an abnormal beat during a holter monitor test and ECHO's can diagnose HCM in patients 80-100% of the time. italy has strict regulations for this and all athletes need to be screened for this before they can compete. infact the sudden death in athletes in italy has gone down 89% since screening was introduced.

100% sure, only country that has mandatory screening is italy. a few months ago a young 14 year old goalkeeper from bandar abbas died in his dads car from HCM after a game, although extreme heat and exhaustion likely aggrevated his heart.Originally posted by Zamboor View PostAre you sure we dont have this in Iran already? just wondering.

Found an intresting and informative Canadian article on issue. Hadi probably had some syptoms but didn't recognize them, shortness of breath is a very common syptom and people just brush it aside. Other major syptoms are fainting or dizzy during exercise, fainting because of loud sudden noise and previous family heart issue. One of the best measures for prevention is EDUCATION on this issue.

one of most important concerns in professional sport is the cardio exam. fortunately we have some of the best cardiologist in the middle east, so there is no reason why teams should not take advantage of this. In a real professional league, death of a star can impact the season which will cause millions and million of dollars loss in revenue!!Originally posted by Zamboor View PostAre you sure we dont have this in Iran already? just wondering.
was not it few years ago PP purchased an african player who turn out to have Hepatitis B?!?
I think this is very common in iran as many players feel if they have been playing in the league for so many years should not undergo medical or physical exam!! we keep hearing it on 90 show that x or y player did not sign with a team because the team requested physical exam or fitness exam
if we look at our league and do a thorough exam i am pretty sure we will find that as many as 40-50% of the IPL players are not fit to play professional football for one reason or another!! which you can see in the fitness of our players in the league and the slow pace of our footballIRI = FAILED

FIFA has also some recommendations on their website to prevent this. Some important points, hopefully we can spread the word and wake up officials inside IFF and AFC about this issue.
-1 in every 100 000 athletes suffer Sudden Death (0.001%, yes its very rare but even one, is one to many and calls for change in regulation)
How to prevent:
-go for regular medical check ups: Holter monitor (ECG) can cause reason for suspicion and for further testing
-never play when you are sick or aching below the neck
common causes of sudden death:
-HCM
-Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia
-Drugs
-Viruses causing flu syptoms which may inflame your heart

exactly, this is a sad wake up call for iranian football. physical exams MUST BE DONE on every player YOUTH OR PRO before they are cleared to touch the ball. people are in disbelief over hadi's death, but this could HAVE EASILY BEEN PREVENTEDOriginally posted by persian-eagle-13 View Postone of most important concerns in professional sport is the cardio exam. fortunately we have some of the best cardiologist in the middle east, so there is no reason why teams should not take advantage of this.
