They are also butt hurt because back in 2011 they temporarily banned our women's team for wearing the hijab, because they found it ''unsafe'' and a ''barrier'' to the game or w/e.

Today they had to eat their words.

EDIT: Just realized he was indeed there at the award ceremony haha.

How hypocritical of them. It is fine for the authorities to physically be present at the venue and watch the girls play live, however it is unlawful and haram for the public to watch their girls play in the final and eventually win the cup!
