Excellent choice by Hajsafi, yes he does deserve a better team, but he has to earn it. He will be on the radar for many Bundesliga teams hopefully soon as I am sure he will impress with his team this season. Go Ehsan

Bagherian is right, Hajsafi is too good for Bundesliga 2 and could definitely play at least for a bottom Bundesliga side however it's a good start, he will have to work for it more than Japs and Koreans that get a free ride every season, but fortunately things seem to start getting better in our football with the removal of sanctions. I'm pretty positive that eventually in the near future our players will start getting European teams that they deserve picking them up

I have to say I have mixed feelings about this transfer. Frankfurt is nr. 9 in the 2. Bundesliga!
Only in case he makes a HUGE impression and is transferred to a decent 1. Bundesliga team in the end of the season, I would say this was a good move. Otherwise...

Hajsafi is payinf the price of:
1. Players before him frowm Iran, havent done anything in Europe. The European teams feel it is a big risk. Who was the latest players who transfered from Iran to Bundesliga?
2. he didint go to Europe when he was younger. The market is different now, European players dont risk a 25 year old player.
But the good thing: he is coming to Europe. And if he is to good for Bundesliga 2, well then he will be transfered to Bundesliga 1

How it is possible when their football is soorakh and us struggling so much to send one of our best there?!?!Originally posted by Kiarash View PostJahanbakhsh got transferred to the Eredivisie when he was playing at Damash Gilan, and he isn't as experienced as Hajsafi is.
So I think Hajsafi definitely can get better, but you got to start somewhere. Just saying that FSV Frankfurt is nothing to be proud of if you consider Hajsafi's profile.
Their NT players are from Slovenia, Albania, Kosovo, Kazakstan and Lebanon. I don't think these countries are better than us.

This Bagherian guy was on the phone. He again didnt mention any team name but said Ehsan is in Germany and will sign with a Bundesliga 2 side. He said we talked to him try to convince him to stay as he is too good to sign for a Bundesliga 2 side , but Ehsan himself said that he has better chances there to get transfered to Bundesliga or other good european leagues later.

There is a big difference between a 19 and a 25 year old player...Originally posted by Kiarash View PostJahanbakhsh got transferred to the Eredivisie when he was playing at Damash Gilan, and he isn't as experienced as Hajsafi is.

Jahanbakhsh got a very low salary and the first 3 or 4 months sometimes even played for the 2nd team. European team dont take the risk of taking a 25 year old that could flop. They rather take an own U19 player up to the first team, who still has much space to improve, doesnt have language/cultural problems and doesnt take away a non EU spot.
And this is for those who think Bundesliga 2 would be a bad move for him. Just take a look at the market values. The bottom Bundesliga 2 teams like Frankfurt, Duisburg or Sandhauden are worth as much as our top teams like Sepahan or Esteghlal.
The average market value of a Bundesliga 2 player is 605000€.
The average market value of an Ipl player is 246000€.
A top team like Leipzig is worth close to 40.000.000€, almost twice as much as the worth of our national team.
I know market values are not everything but just for some
people to see.

I love how you are unhappy with something that isn't even decided.
