Most of the NEC players like JB specially Limbombe. He is such a great player and gentleman. I wish Limbombe good luck in future. He was a good combo with JB back in NEC.

2 goals and 4 assists for a winger so far this season is not too shabby.

Maybe he made a rash decision in the heat of the moment. I don't think any professional would genuinely intend to hurt anyone on the pitch.

That look like a concussion which if it is the case will be pretty long absent, hope not.

"Jahanbakhsh making stop to NEC tale that he started

"Precisely the man who stood at the base year and a half ago of the fairy tale in De Goffert, there was an end to Saturday. Alireza Jahanbakhsh now plays namely in Alkmaar and allowed the Nijmegen hoping to place three evaporate within minutes. On a pass from Markus Henriksen he tapped 0-2 after the same Henriksen after 33 seconds in a cross from Dabney dos Santos had cashed.

Jahanbakhsh calculated in Nijmegen was his first goal for AZ, where he got off to a false start because of injuries. The 22-year-old Iranian was declared last season the best player in the Jupiler League. Partly because of its productivity with twelve goals, eighteen assists and swirling action on the sidelines turned the Nijmegen after a year's absence with a record number of points back in the Eredivisie...

Jahanbakhsh which is opgestoomd after four consecutive victories with AZ to place eight, now may be a competitor in the battle for the playoffs. Be it him, after all the beauty that is thanks to him in Nijmegen arise forgive fixed."

JB was rated 8.5 by whoscored and also selected as Man of the Match

He got a 8.42 vs Cambuur and 8.1 vs Feyenoord, his average in the Eredivisie is 7.15 which means he's the 4th best player in AZ.

As I previously said since the Feyenoord game JB looked really much better, like a player that could actually play a key role in AZ's success this season, this injury came at the worst possible time as he was regaining his form I just hope it's not a bad one...

I don't know. The guy probably meant to sneak JB with a hard shoulder but I don't think he meant to break his nose or concuss him or whatever the case is - I think that was a matter of chance. Football is a physical sport, remember.

I didn't think it was intentional when seeing it earlier but watching it again it does look almost intentional.

Surprised it wasn't called a foul. maybe it will be reviewed by the disciplinary committee.

Though they were unpopular here, I think the precautions AZ took with his rehabilitation really paid off. I'm glad they recognized how talented of a footballer he was and took care of him. On another note, Vlaar has been a big improvement for them at the back.

The injury isn't serious and he is feeling better.

AZ finally on tour, and Jahanbakhsh with his first goal. It can only get better from now on, even the 3rd place (Europa League) is only 5 points away. Their striker Janssen is on fire, and the team looks like to have fixed their defensive issues with the presence of experienced Netherlands NT player Ron Vlaar. He is a really good defender and way above Eredivisie level.

JB is back on recovery. Nothing serious and he will resume training.

Glad to hear he is not injured, and excellent job scoring. Hopefully he will use this goal to motivate himself further and continue to regain his form. Congrats!
