I think for the 2nd goal, Ansarifard is the one that lunged in and tried to score and the goalie had to keep that ball out. Good for him. Real nice finish on the first goal. Very clean.

Not wise to call him up yet, I feel like he is still more of a liability than an asset when taking one of our striker spots.

We are all obviously very delighted that he is finally starting to score but scoring 2 goals in 1 year and a half in the 2nd Spanish league and Greek league combined is not enough to pop out the TM call-ups, but if he keeps this form up and plays this way consistently we can give him a TM spot in our future WCQ matches. For now I don't think that the time is quite right IMO

yea i say wait till the this round of WCQ is over and we can see how he is doing. if he gets between 8-10 goals this season, he deserves a callup in june for the next round of wcq. but i still want to see reza + azmoun partnered toghether that would be deadly. imagine if also sarbazi players come back. also i think andos time is done, horrid performances so far in wcq:

Sarbazi players returning will be interesting, Rafiei and Bakhtiar are playing really good right now which would be the ideal time to try to integrate a new CAM into the team and drop Masoud for good (don't think we will ever change permanently to a 4-4-2 under CQ, unless maybe occasionally vs teams like Guam and India). Among them Abdollahzadeh also should be called up so we can try other CMs, I am sure these guys will immediately be called up once their military issues are cleared up.

Also I wouldn't mind inviting Beitashour as well now that Ghafouri is injured for couple of weeks, but CQ might still favor Mahini over him once he will be back, it looked like it when he was speaking about sarbazi players few weeks ago where he mentioned Mahini and Pouladi's absences as one of the sources to our full back problems

I think it will be better for ansarifard not to be called up to TM. His team is doing really well at the moment and he has just started to score goals. His priority should be scoring and staying focussed with Panionios and build up to a well deserved TM call up. I believe he has the quality, he has to have the fighter mentality, and that has been one of Karim's main problems, He has a ballerina/princess mentality which really isnt good for a forward. Its good to see him growing out of that. GO Karim

i thought this was a league game..!! didnt know it was a Cup match where usually a more experimental squad start..!!
with that in mind, i'd also be more apt to wait till he becomes a regular league starting striker for poonanies and get a couple of more goals under his belt before recalling him back to TM..!
especially considering Reza and ARJ are now healthy and back in the mix and the fact that regardless i still rate Taremi over him as striker/tm player..!!

I wish this was true, but unfortunately Jahanbaksh doesn't seem to fit into CQ's system. He isn't suited for defensive teams, he's much more offensive minded. I hope it works out for him though, he can make Cashkan riding the bench
