Do you have any proof of this? I highly doubt coaches would be checking the values that are just opinions of random people. If I remember correctly a 14 or 15 year old PFDC member does the values for the Iranian league.

What do you guys think about the possibility of Azmoun extending his contract with Rubin? This way , he would be able to join Rostov on loan once again

Brother, they might not check the site because of players market values, but simply because its the most complete site, they can check out any player and see how much he generated in his past transfers, until when he has a contract with his current team, if he was bought or loaned out and stuff like that.

I don't understand your point. You said transfermarket has his value at $7 million, which is a made up figure. It's a soccer fan website and that number is meaningless.

If you want to believe everything you read online go ahead.

The soccer subreddit had a discussion on Transfermarkt and below are some comments. It's just a bunch of people on another forum that decide what a player is worth.

The value on transfermarkt doesn't actually mean anything though?
Because transfermarkt what they put out is not gospel. And I don't think they pretend that it is. So you shouldn#t look at it like it's a true valuation of what x club is gonna pay.
And people in this thread don't know what they're talking about.
Stuff like Contract length has no effect on the value on tm and the users don't change them, they're suggested. They have a team I think that actually decides the values.
I'm not a user, but from reading through their guidelines: their values aren't gonna and aren't supposed to represent the true potential transfer values of a player.

They don't include stuff like contract length in their "calculation". And they're also not 100% x for x gonna use buy out clauses. They also say there are no unreasonable devaluation just because of age etc.

Portugese newspaper O Jogo linked Azmoun with a move to Benfica.

                MERCADO SARDAR AZMOUN APONTADO

                • 29 May 2016

I guess I can give you a bit of an insight about transfermarkt.de as I am the data scout of Iran.
First of all transfervalue is not the same like market value.
And the contract/salary of a player is not relevant when you want to generate a Market value.
That's something many people mess up. F.e Fatollahzadeh when he wanted to argue at Navad with Adel about players salary.
When I want to generate a market value (with the help of 04041374) I usually look at the
-most recent games a player played (and that doesn't mean just scorerpoints)
-age of a player. Player at the age of 31+ usually don't get an upgrade. Only if they play out of their mind like Fernando Jesus. (For Goalkeepers its at 34+ usually)
                  - little factors like how often a player gets injured or if a player gets too many useless red cards or any suspensions.
For other leagues I can say that transfer value plays a role (In Iran mostly players get transfered for free because of 1year contracts). For Example Rubin Kazan is asking for 8millions but Azmoun still got the 7million. Because clubs usually ask for a higher price.
Also a example for this is the Saudi League where Saudi Players get bought for millions. That still doesn't make them valuable ^^

The market values on transfermarkt is a joke when Uzbekistan has more market value than us. Azmoun truly deserves 8M, though.

Why would they loan again one of league best striker?

Because it's pretty much sure Azmoun don't want to stay with Rubin and we don't know if Rostov can afford to pay 7/8 m for him. The only solution if he wants to work with Berdyev again would be to extend his contract with Rubin and join Rostov on loan for another season (and then Rubin will still be able to sell him , and maybe get even more money from his transfer if he shines in CL/EL and RPL)

I think his price would have been set when the loan was signed as there is a buy clause in there. I could be mistaken but that's what makes sense to me.

well its reported and according to Sardar himself (i think i heard him say it in an interview?? or read it?) his loan buy clause is somewhere in region of 8mil..!!
Azmoun, sure as shitt isnt inclined to go back to Rubin and seemingly prefers to follow Berdyiev anywhere he goes next..!
i wonder if Rubin's New coach rates Sardar much? or could lure him back to Rubin with promise of more frequent playing minutes..?, but conventional wisdom would suggest both Rubin mgmt and their new coach, would much rather have an additional 8mi. in transfer funds for rebuilding their team, than the services of an uncommitted & somewhat disgruntled youngster for Only one more season..!! to answer Malavani's earlier question, i suppose, if Sardar agrees to extend his Rubin's contract by more than 2 years or more, then he would be allowed to stay on loan for another season or so?? but the the whole thing seems unlikely..!!?

i think for now, we gotta wait and see where Berdiyev ends up First...? if Rostov, then my best guess would be some choone-zani will be ensued and he will be released for about 4-6mil..? just my guess..!!
the problem is, not many teams would be willing to pay a youngster decent wages and on top of that millions in transfer fee, to have their services for only One season ..!! so they will likely demand at least a 2-3 year commitment from Azmoun before agreeing to exercise his buy clause from Rubin..!

its complicated and difficult to predict where Sardar will end up for next season and for how long..?? i fear its gonna take a long time before a mutual agreement is reached(probably on transfer deadline day ..??) and he will end up missing most off season in limbo, and that would make it far more difficult for him to be well prepared and hit the ground running at the start of next season..!!
