Well Perspolis is currently holding a camp in Oman and Al-Oruba have won both league and cup and were the best option to play a friendly against.Originally posted by babak_iran View Postlol seriously what a joke. PP coudn't find a better team to play during this break???
I think they were invited to play there. From what I've seen they had some good reception by the Omanis. The Perspolis players were even invited for dinner.

Well Oman's club teams are shit. i don't think i have ever seen them play in AFC Champions League. Have they even played in the AFC Cup? IMO if they played Pas Hamedan it would of been a better preparation for them. How on earth they conceded 4 goals is beyond meOriginally posted by 04041374 View PostWell Perspolis is currently holding a camp in Oman and Al-Oruba have won both league and cup and were the best option to play a friendly against.

Based on what documentations they printed Biroozi "Piroozi"? I don't get it!!???
Didn't our imbecile club management have a signed contract for this friendly? Didn't they have to write the name "Perspolis" on the paperworks etc. prior to flying to this country?
I am real upset on how people in charge in our country are such incompetent authorities. The team's name changed over 3-4 years ago to its legitimate and original name "Perspolis" yet we get to see these types of errors...

I am sorry folks, please pardon my cynical behavior in regards to this match and its camp. I am wondering what good camping in a country like Oman will bear for our football!? What do they offer that our own cities such as Kish, Ahvaz, Tabriz, Ardebil, Mashhad won't?
Unless Perspolis was offered a paid trip and camp, plus a decent payment, I will not understand why we're there.

It was a good friendly and training camp, the training ground in Oman was excellent, better than any other in Iran. Most importantly, was the we got a good welcome and the players got a break from the media and circus. Also regarding Kish, the training ground there is in horrible condition, Persepolis held a camp there at Winter Break and it got cut short because of the quality of turf.Originally posted by Keano View PostI am sorry folks, please pardon my cynical behavior in regards to this match and its camp.
